We run our family farm in accordance with organic principles. It is a traditional three-altitude operation.
What this means:
The main home farm is located 750 to 900 m above sea level at the foot of the Brünig Pass between Lucerne and Interlaken.
Our pre-Alpine hut in Hüttschisbach lies at alt. 1400 m.
Our high Alpine hut in Seefäld lies at alt. 1900 m.
Dairy and alpine farming, animal rearing. We also keep small domestic animals.
The summer finds us producing tasty Seefälder alpine cheese and butter, which we sell direct to the public at the farm gate.
We are pleased to welcome you on our farm!
Agritourism has become an important part of our revenue mix.
We keep 18 dairy cows and 18 bullocks, which spend the summer up in our Alpine pastures. We also have hens, ducks and cats — not forgetting our farm dog Tommy.
